Starting your journey at the International Study Centre
We offer a variety of pathway programmes to undergraduate study at the University of Aberdeen. Depending on your interests, academic background and age, we have a variety of routes for you to choose from. Our pathway programmes combine subject-specific modules with English language lessons and courses on how to improve your study skills, allowing you to progress to your degree with the skills to succeed.
You will be a member of the University community from your first day, studying a curriculum designed in collaboration with University of Aberdeen academics. Scottish undergraduate degrees are typically four years in length and your time at the International Study Centre will not affect this. Depending on the pathway programme you choose, you will transition to degree study in either your second or third year, still graduating in the typical four years it would take a domestic student. The only exception to this are the LLB and Medicine programmes which offer first year entry.
