Global Scholarship for pathway students
Once you successfully complete your pathway programme at the International Study Centre, you’ll be granted access to University of Aberdeen’s generous Global Scholarships to help you fulfil your academic ambition and ease the costs associated with studying abroad.
The University of Aberdeen is offering students enrolling on an undergraduate level pathway programme at the International Study Centre in September 2025, November 2025 or January 2026 a £6,000 scholarship for every year of their undergraduate degree at the University. The scholarship is open to students progressing to the University in September 2026.

The University of Aberdeen is offering students enrolling on a postgraduate level pathway programme at the International Study Centre in May 2025 or September 2025 a £8,000 scholarship for their postgraduate degree at the University. The scholarship is open to students progressing to the University either in September 2025 or January 2026.

Important information
- Students at the University of Aberdeen cannot combine scholarship awards. Successful awardees will receive the highest value scholarship as their total award.
- You do not need to apply separately for the University of Aberdeen scholarship. Your application for study will be automatically checked for eligibility for the scholarship upon successful completion of your pathway programme.
- The scholarship is only open to self-funded international fees students registering for full-time for on-campus courses.

To support the launch of the new International Year Two in Psychology and Medical Sciences, we are offering a number of generous scholarships that you can benefit from to help with your studies.
Eligibility
You must hold an offer to study at the University of Aberdeen International Study Centre to be considered for this scholarship.
Scholarships are valid for 2025/26 Academic Year programmes, which begin on or after August 25th, 2025.
This scholarship does not apply to students who are sponsored by a government, organisation or company.
