Scholarships for academic excellence
The University is pleased to offer academic scholarships for students who show academic excellence in their pathway programme. We hope these scholarships, combined with the University's award-winning research and top facilities, help to inspire you to achieve success in your studies and future career.
Undergraduate pathway students
The University of Aberdeen is offering progression scholarships to students who achieve a grade B (equivalent to at least 68%) in their undergraduate pathway programme. This scholarship will be available up to the value of £2,500 each year of your undergraduate degree, following your transition to the University.
The scholarship is available to self-funded students at the International Study Centre, on any undergraduate pathway except for those progression to MBChB Medicine*.
Postgraduate pathway students
Postgraduate students who achieve the equivalent to at least 68% in their chosen postgraduate pathway programme are also eligible for an academic scholarship to the University. A scholarship up to the value of £2,000 is available to students following progression from the International Study Centre.
This scholarship is available to self-funded students on any postgraduate pathway programme at the International Study Centre.
*Undergraduate Foundation Programme in Life Sciences – Pathway to Medicine students who do not receive an offer to the MBChB and who subsequently transfer to a Life Sciences BSc degree remain ineligible for the merit scholarship and any country-specific scholarships.
Students at the University of Aberdeen cannot combine scholarship awards. Successful awardees will receive the highest value scholarship as their total award.
