The University of Aberdeen International Study Centre welcomed its first cohort of students in September 2019. Results show that in 2020, 97% of International Study Centre students who completed their studies have been offered a place to study at the University of Aberdeen.

Professor Richard Wells, Vice-Principal International Partnerships at the University of Aberdeen, recognised the student’s achievements, and said:

“We are delighted that the first cohort of students who started their studies at the International Study Centre in 2019/20 are progressing to further study here at the University of Aberdeen. This is a fantastic result, especially given the challenging circumstances we find ourselves in in 2020. Our partnership with Study Group continues to give students additional opportunities to study at Aberdeen, both at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and helps us achieve our foundational purpose of being open to all and dedicated to the pursuit of truth in the service of others.”

In addition to this great progression result, eleven students excelled in their studies and have been awarded prestigious progression scholarships – a total £2,500 reduction in tuition fees for every year of study at Aberdeen.

You can begin your studies at University of Aberdeen International Study Centre in January, and progress to your degree in September. For full information on our programmes, visit our undergraduate or postgraduate programme pages.
