What is the Pre-Masters Programme?
Deepen your academic knowledge and improve your English language skills through a twelve-week programme designed to prepare you for postgraduate study at the University of Aberdeen. If you studied your undergraduate degree in your home country but now want to enhance your employability by studying at a world-class research university, this pathway is for you. 100% of students who completed the Pre-Masters Programme at Aberdeen International Study Centre were offered progression to a degree course at the University of Aberdeen in 2023.

Choose from two subject pathways
Your study plan
The Pre-Masters Programme offers two entry points for progression to the postgraduate study - either a September or January start at the University, as long as you meet the minimum entry requirements and pay your fees.
Note: The postgraduate degrees are normally 12 months at the University of Aberdeen, however there're a few progression degrees which are 15 months.
