Study in Scotland

An ancient yet innovative education system

Every year, thousands of international students choose to study in the UK. Universities here are respected around the world for their high quality of education and welcoming and supportive multicultural atmosphere. The United Kingdom is made up of four countries: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The University of Aberdeen is located in Scotland, the northernmost of the four countries.

Studying in Scotland is unlike studying elsewhere in the UK. Degrees here are flexible, allowing you to find the right specialism for you. If you are an undergraduate student, you’ll study for four years rather than the typical three — a system that has been implemented across the world, from the USA to China.  Postgraduate students will benefit from developing their knowledge in country home to some of oldest universities in the world.
